Roman's Road
My Sin:      Romans 3:10,23;
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one."
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

My Penalty:      Romans 5:12; 6:23a;
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."
"For the wages of sin is death ..."

My Gift:      Romans 5:6,8-9; 6:23;
"For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly."
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him."
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

My Decision:      Romans 10:9-10;
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

My Assurance:      Romans 10:13; John 3:15-16;
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
"... Whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Chosen in Him
Ephesians 1:4 says, "According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world ..."

God has chosen us in Him, in Christ Jesus, before the world was made. That means that God chose us before laying that very first foundation stone to this world. Before God layed that first foundation stone, He knew each and every one of us; all generations throughout all time, all families, and every person; BY NAME. He knew you, and He knew me. God knew everything about us; the generation we would live in, the family who bore us, all details of our frame and understanding, and He knew we would turn our backs on Him and walk in sin.

For God to choose you and me says that He, the ALL-RIGHTEOUS GOD must punish us for our sin. Before He created this world, God chose the penalty of my sin. Death. God saw that He would create this world for a special fellowship with a special people and NEVER have that fellowship because of my sin. We would all spend an eternity in the Lake of Fire that He created for the fallen angels, not for you and me.

For God to choose you and me says that He must REDEEM us back to Him. Another must pay my sin penalty for me. The Redeemer must die in my place. Picture this in your mind for a moment. It was as though God the Father turned to His Son to say, "Son, I have a great favor to ask of you. You see, these that we will create to fellowship with will need a Savior."

I can hear the Son answer, "Anything Father. You know I love them too." (still uncreated)

And the Father would reply, "Son, you must die in their place. You must take their sin on yourself and BECOME THEIR SIN." For God to choose you and me before the foundation of the world says that the ALL-LOVING GOD will become my sin for me and die in my place on the cross of Calvary; and I go free! God the Father chose you and me before laying that first foundation stone for this world, and set in motion the very moment HIS SON WOULD DIE.

He only asks that we; you and I, choose Him. If you have not yet asked Christ to be your personal Savior, would you ask Him right now. Confess to Him that you are a sinner and bound for an eternity in Hell. Believe that He died in your place, and Ask Him to save you.

If you have just accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, would you contact our Pastor and tell him. We would like to rejoice in the salvation of our new brother in Christ. If you still have questions about salvation, please contact us as well.
